New Report: Shipyards Bolster U.S. Economy

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration (MARAD) released a new report showing that shows just how important work in the nation's shipyards is to the economy.  

According to PAINTSQUARE.com, "MARAD's report, The Economic Importance of the U.S. Shipbuilding and Repairing Industry, notes that shipyards provide 110,000 jobs across the country and contributed $37.3 billion to the Gross Domestic Product in 2013."
